Champions Trophy Pakistan vs Bangladesh Match Abandoned Due to Rain
Rawalpindi: The ongoing ICC Champions Trophy match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was abandoned on Thursday due to persistent rainfall, marking another frustrating washout.
This is the second consecutive game at the venue to be affected by weather, as the previous day’s match between Australia and South Africa also had to be called off without a ball being bowled.
With no play possible, both Pakistan and Bangladesh, who have struggled to make an impact in the tournament, each received a point from the abandoned fixture, leaving their Champions Trophy campaigns in a disappointing state.
